For some people, travelling thru Colombia by road is supposed to be a very dangerous endeavour, and even more if you go off the main roads. This book does not intend to prove otherwise. Colombian security has improved leaps and bounds, but if you get yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time (as in any country) things can go awful.
