For some people, travelling thru Colombia by road is supposed to be a very dangerous endeavour, and even more if you go off the main roads. This book does not intend to prove otherwise. Always ask around, and don’t take the roads we took for granted. Some are dangerous.
Pat has ridden 100,000 miles around the world and four times across Africa, always 2-up with his wife Ness (they married on the road after a proposal in Timbuktu).
