USA East, North Carolina 2012 Sept 7-9

USA East, Stecoah, North Carolina, USA

Full details and Registration open now!

Please spread the word to your friends, download the poster on the webpage and post it up everywhere!

If you haven't been, the riding in the area is fantastic, and the facilities are about as perfect a motorcycle campground as you can imagine - it's all right there, and the food is awesome!

And this year, it's at a MUCH nicer time of the year, with great riding weather!

We are now accepting applications from presenters for putting on a show, it can be on any bike related traveling topic. If you've been on a big trip, learned a few things, or have technical expertise or at least good experience on any topic of interest to our travelers please sign up! For some more ideas on what YOU COULD present, see the UK Meeting.

We are also looking for volunteers as usual! We had an excellent crew last year doing a range of activities. It takes help from volunteers to put on the meeting and this year we'll need a few more. When you register for the event you'll have an opportunity to volunteer, and we'd greatly appreciate it if you'd help out for just a few hours. It's a GREAT way to meet people too!

I hope to see YOU there!

Fantastic - and great to hear you're having a good time! So Mexico wasn't a problem like the news would have us think?

Mexico was GREAT! The checkpoints and topes did get on my nerves after a while, but the people were extremely welcoming and good to me.

I am in San Jose, CA right now with faield final drive on my GS. Here' hoping it gets repaired so I can see you guys in Flagstaff next week!

I'll be heading down from central NY ... if anyone is going in the same direction, get in touch!

Heading west after the meet-up, to Colorado Springs / Denver for some Rocky Mountain riding.

I mentioned this at the Asheville BMW club meeting last night and there was some interest. I will keep reminding them during the upcoming meetings and put some flyers in the new BMW dealership here.

The posters/flyers are up in the local motorcycle shops. Hopefully that means more attendees.

Kurt, email me! The form should show all those options when registering - but you have to click the link "Select your Tshirt for all Meetings here" on the second page. Membership is on the first page.

I can easily add them for you, just let me know what you'd like.

Thanks, Grant! I know you have been busy taking care of yourself and that is the main thing. Remember, the main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing! Take care of yourself first!!

I think I tried to speed register and missed the items.

I need a XXL Synthetic T-shirt. Black or grey, either is OK with me.

I would also like to add membership. Let Mike know if ther is any cost difference and I will settle up with him at the meeting.

Again, take care of yourself. Everything else is secondary.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
