Video - Milwaukee to South America on a TS185

Hey guys,

The HUB was a great help in planning the latest adventure. I hope it is ok if I post my photoblog and video updates here.

It took us 6 weeks but Natasha, the bike, and I made it nearly to Mexico City now.

Here is our first video

and this is the photoblog DanTPeters

I covinced UW-Milwaukee to give me 9 credits of independent studies so that the GI Bill would fund the trip. The photoblog and videos are my homework.

Good luck with the trip Dan, my hat is off to you doing it on this bike and showing you don't need $$$$$$ and a 1200 GS, I have had a couple of Suzuki TS in the past, a 100 and a 185 so am feeling a little nostalgic.
I will keep an eye out for your updates.

Of course it's ok Dan, that's what it's for! We look forward to more posts from you - and don't forget to send me something for the newsletter too while you're at it!

And that's the kind of homework I might have actually done when I was in school - well done!

Way to go, you got the Packers and the BoDeans in the video. I was born in Milwaukee, so glad to see another intrepid cheesehead out in the world!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
